Fill out a VFR navlog step by step

This is the paper order, not an EFB dump. AutoNavlog walks the same four steps.

1. Route

Write departure, arrival, and every checkpoint in order. Paste a ForeFlight or ICAO string if you have one. Airway tokens expand to published fixes. Confirm the parsed list before you leave this step.

2. Parameters

Cruise altitude, OAT, RPM, fuel on board. Choose whether the clock starts at takeoff or at TOC. If you time from takeoff, the first row is departure → TOC at climb KTAS and climb GPH from the C172S POH table. Field elevation and weights fill takeoff and landing distance on the backside.

3. Wind

Enter winds aloft at planned altitude for each leg, or fetch the AWC FD table and verify it. Time Off (UTC) is required so ETA is clock time, not a stopwatch.

4. Results and print

Read Wind & Heading first (TC → WCA → TH → Var → MH), then Route/Time (GS, ETE, fuel, clock ETA). Print / Save PDF for the landscape form. Leave ATE / ATA / GS ACT. blank until you fly.

Independently verify every number against the chart, official weather, and the aircraft POH. See the Aviation Disclaimer.
