Paper navlog layout
Wind & Heading on top (Dir., Vel., TC, WCA, TH, Var., MH) and Route/Time below (MH, checkpoint, altitude, TAS, distance, fuel, clock ETA, ETE, estimated GS). Blank ATE / ATA / GS ACT. columns print for in-flight actuals.
ForeFlight and ICAO routes
Paste a flight-tab route. Airway tokens expand to published fixes. Guest users can still compute a navlog; Pro adds saved routes and the map.
C172S POH tables
Climb, cruise, takeoff, and landing distances come from Firestore performanceTables/c172_* with bundled POH JSON as the deploy fallback. Linear interpolation between tabulated bands. Climb GPH is fuel-used ÷ time, not a hardcoded 12 GPH.
Winds aloft
Fetch the NWS Aviation Weather Center FD product, decode it, and interpolate to cruise altitude. You must still verify the official table before flight.
Timing and fuel
Start the clock at takeoff or at TOC. ETE ceils to the next minute for display and accumulates unrounded internally. Fuel remaining uses unrounded burns. Clock ETAs wrap 24 hours from Time Off UTC.
Print and PDF
Results → Print / Save PDF uses a landscape stylesheet that hides chrome and keeps the paper form.
